How to delete your account from the app

You can delete your account yourself from within the Mineral Note app.

• Open the Mineral Note app.
• Open “My Page” from the navigation at the bottom of the screen.
• Select “Delete Account”.
• Follow the prompts on the confirmation screen to complete the deletion.

Requesting deletion without the app

If you have already removed the app, or cannot delete your account from within the app, please email the address below with the email address you use to sign in and request account deletion. We will verify your identity and process the deletion on your behalf.

Data that will be deleted

Deleting your account removes the following data.

• Profile information (display name, email address, avatar image)
• Collecting spots, collecting records, and gallery pieces you posted
• User-generated content such as comments, likes, and notes
• Notification settings and device tokens

Data retention and retention period

After you request account deletion, the user data above is normally deleted within 30 days and fully erased, including from backups, within 90 days at the latest.

However, information that we are legally required to retain, or that is necessary to prevent and investigate misuse, may be kept to the extent and for the period necessary.

Where needed to preserve community context (for example, replies to other users), some posts may remain in an anonymized form that is no longer linked to you.
